Re: procrastinated report and pics BFB 09'
as you can see folks were full of energy in the beginning, and many ended up taking a snooze on the way back....true....it's hard to wake up early and fish arms tired for 5 straight hours..the keg got kicked...not as fast as the 2nd trip, but kicked nonetheless...so.....since we kicked it twice with around 20 folks....1/2 keg will be the standard for years to come...and fear not...this tournament will go on forever...our kids will take it over when we are too old to fish or we are long gone....ha....i plan on living forever anyways ...
i learned a couple things on this trip...tide is just as important on a big charter boat...we will try to coordinate it a bit better so the fishing isnt slow for 1.5 hrs.....i noticed the captain was a good guy but he left spots before all lines were up...he is a rookie capt...and he will get better, but the faster he gets feedback from customers, the better he will become...if you notice something like that again, by all means tell him...this is your boat just as much as it is any of us...that is why it's private(and more expensive)
here is a pic of the winning fish...i will post pics of the t-shirt in the merch section...
