ok here is my story...i can put up with alot of shit, but this needs to be addressed...i used vrbo.com for the second time to rent a cabin for my wife's 30th...we found a place, looked good online, nice ammenities....the advertised pool table is missing or has broken balls...their dartboard is a 3 dollar kmart special...the gas grill has a burner that shoots flames outside underneath....huge ant problem...and the important part....not many fish in the lake...no sunfish...quite odd...overgrown with algae....only got one white perch so far...apparently it was a small pond with streams on either side and they dammed it......the beach is closed all week.....wtf!!!!!!!!!!!!!111
we went to a park in liberty ny for the day for the kids to play, and guess what?loaded with panfish, spawning beds, frogs......saw a bass eat a frog ....so i went to go look , and i saw a fat 3lber cruising around below some algae mats......
even saw baby pickerel.....lots of baby bass....too bad i need a lic for anything considered public...so his is myy advice to all of you...when you book a place, don't take the renter's word...research online 1st...this douchebag told me there are trout in this lake...absolutely not...you cant see 6in below the surface.....
but otherwise...a bad day of fishing is better than a good day of work....
