Wife thinks I'm nuts.

Who needs the warm waters of FL in the winter! I've been looking at taking a trip this winter to fish off the George's Bank. The Helen H runs out of Hyannis in February. Might not be a regular thing, but once I'd like to take a trip out into the North Atlantic in the winter. I've got a week off Feb. 14th-22nd. You get the experience for a day without subjecting yourself to weeks of "The Deadliest Catch." Anyone who thinks they might be interested, LMK.

Plan is as follows:
Pick a day during that week that looks "good" on the forecasts. Not looking to sail out into the Perfect Storm. Boat leaves Hyannis @ 3:00am. Would go up the afternoon before, look around, get dinner & a few beers, sleep for a few hours in the mini-van. No point in getting a room. Boat returns by 7:00pm. Hope that the Friday or weekend looks good.

u r nuts!but that is why you rule!....kunz expressed interest in a cod trip this year, i cant afford, but it should be alt least discussed in here right?
